After class on Thursday, I came up with three more concepts. Please let me know if any of these work better.
1. I'm not sure what these are called but its the rectangular hole on the side of curbs connecting to the street that have water and leaves drained into it. Anyways, there would be a mini goal in place of it. Netting would be set up where the opening is and the goal could be stuck on around the side with FIFA 2010 on the street.
2. Car sunshades would be put on top of cars in parking lots. One sunshade after the next would show players getting closer to the goalie so when seen from a distance, it would look like it was in the middle of a game.
3. We slightly mentioned about 3D chalk art on Thursday so tried to do a spin off of it. This would be a mural from wall to street. On the wall, a goalie would be blocking the ball and the street would have a player in mid kick.

There's something interesting about #1. 2 and 3 are not working.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to think big on idea 1. Think large scale and where people will have a better connection with soccer. A street drainage is not the right connection.
You're on a right track. You just have to think creatively on how and where you will execute this idea.
