FIFA 2010

Hey guys,

The big idea I want to concentrate on is how difficult it is to score a goal in soccer and relating it to everyday life. Soccer obviously isn't a high scoring game like basketball. When a goal is scored in soccer, everyone is flying out of their seats with excitement and it feels like a once in a lifetime event. Relating "goals" to something everyone encounters on a daily basis would remind them of the games coming this summer.

In order to show that for guerilla, I was thinking of putting the soccer goal in places around the city that the public would feel that they scored. For example, since street parking is always stressful to find around the city, when you finally find one, you feel as if you won the jackpot. I was thinking of putting couple of a mini goals on the front side of each street side parking spot so the car's front end could fit in it. Placement would be in front of, for example, niketown, sporting goods store or sports bars.

Let me know if this works better. Thank you!

Erica

  3. Excellent. It would be fantastic to include more examples of how the ambient plays out, in addition to the print and outdoor. What else makes you feel like you've really scored? Could stick w/ transit: trains, cabs... I'm excited to see how far you can take this.
