Hey team Caprica!

Sorry about all those blank posts, tried to post from my phone and it did not go well :D

I just wanted to tell you guys that all the episodes are available on www.ch131.com and the show is actually really interesting so far. Even in the first episode we learn a lot about why things are the way they are on Battle Star Galactica. In case you don't have time to watch the 90 min pilot episode what basically happens is that there is a terrorist attack on what is basically a BART train but much fancier. One of the girls who dies (Zoe) is a computer genius who has figured out a way to make an avatar replica of herself, this replica lives in a virtual world where people go to have crazy sex and kill people because none of it is real and there are no consequences. When she dies her avatar is left behind but the copy is so good that it's like they were the same person, just one doesn't have a physical body outside of the program.

So Zoe's father who is developing robotic weaponry for the planet Caprica tries to take this avatar, which is basically a computer program, and transplant it into a robot so that he can have his family back. At the end of the pilot episode her father has successfully downloaded Zoe's copy into a robot that he had originally built for the government. So it's like this badass terminator bot but a sixteen yearold's soul is living inside, kind of cool.

if you watch the episodes online and are not familiar with the original show then I would recommend looking up the basic storyline on wikipedia. There are a lot of connections even in the first episode and I think it's important that we at least touch on them in our campaign.
